My birthday is tomorrow!  Currently, I am playing on Pottermore, it's very interesting.  But what I was really interested in telling you was what I did last night; I went to a Sky Family Celtic Revival concert!  These people were amazing, they step-danced, played the fiddle, sang... It was just really, really professional.  I'd love to go to another concert, plus he preached at the end, and being Revived, and how Non-Christians can be revived and how Christians can be revived.  Check out their website @ http://theskys.org/

Enjoy!

Favorite CCM singers/bands

Britt Nicole.  I feel like her song All This Time can really reach out to those who found God while going through a tough time.  I also love Set The World On Fire, it has such a catchy tune, great message and beautiful singing.

Robin Marks. He shows so much.. passion, I guess, in everything he sings, his songs make you want to get up and dance around.  I simply adore The Wonder of Your Cross, I just can't even put into words what it makes me feel.

Casting Crowns.  There are A LOT of amazing things to say about this band and their songs, but for me, one far surpasses the others.  It's called Glorious Day (Living He Loved Me).  It moved me to tears when I first heard it, and it's by far my favorite... maybe!  There are SO many good ones!

Chris Tomlin.  Oh. My. Gosh.  Everything he sings immediately touches my heart.  Plus, the music itslef is so beautiful.

Switchfoot.  I like a lot of songs from them, but I REALLY REALLY like Only Hope.  It's so calm and is very emotion provoking.  Maybe I'm just a emotional sucker.

There are so many more, but I don't have time to wrote all of them :)

Hope you check out some of these songs and bands/artists, and enjoy their songs.  Christian music is like chicken soup for the soul, whereas (for example) Super Bass by Nicki Minaj is like a chocolate bunny.  It tastes good now, but in the long run, you'll wish you gulped down the good stuff. :)  Not to say I ONLY listen to Christian music, I really like artists/bands like Taylor Swift, Ingrid Michaelson, The Beach Boys, Mandy Moore, WOTE (Walk Off The Earth), Weezer, Anna Nalick... Just like above, the list is endless.

Happy Easter! HE IS RISEN!  I'd like to share with you a passage from Matthew 28.
Here you go!

1 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
8 So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9 Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”
The Guards’ Report
11 While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened. 12 When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money, 13 telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.’ 14 If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.” 15 So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.
The Great Commission
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Tonight.

Tonight my friend and I are hanging out.  We're having a sleepover. I'm playing my guitar, and she's doing, well, something.  Now we're playing dress-up with some of my Mom's dresses from the 70's.  They're ridiculously outrageous.  This is so much fun!

You AREN'T alone!

I know this is hard to believe, but God is with you all of the time.  I sometimes forget that, because it seems like God is distant, and that he doesn't answer your prayers when we're distressed and worried.  What we all need to remember is that he has a master plan for all of us, and we need to let him take the burden off of our shoulders.  Here's a verse that really helped me when I was having a tough time.  It's 1 Peter 5:7.

"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."

Just remember that God loves you and he's watching over you, and that your prayers HAVE been answered, you just aren't sure how yet.

Whenever I start something...

OKAY!  I am determined to make this work.  I WILL write this blog like, every day... maybe.
Anyways, this is basically a place for Christians to come and learn about God and meet other christians and share their stories!  I'm trying to figure out how to make a chat room work on this blog, so be patient!
My story?  Gosh,  I don't know!  I do know that currently, 12:54 pm, April 4th, 2012 I am sitting on an EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE blanket on the grass at my house in Kauai, Hawaii (another code, it's for my actual town/city in which I wish not to divulge the location of!), with my laptop, writing this.
So, grew up in Limerick, Ireland (yup, you guessed it.  A code), moved to Kauai when I was 4(ish).  Personal Accomplishments: Became Famous (abititreallywasntthatbigofadeal:P), Loved like crazy, gave my life to Jesus, made my bedroom the COOLEST place everr(!!!), discovered how amazing christian music is... Yup thats it.  Well, obviously there are a lot others (like winning the Awana box-car grand prix :) So proud) but the things I listed were the coolest, and the most important.  Speaking of important things, having a close relationship with God is more important than anything else.  When I was (about) 13 years old, I started to want to do more to strengthen my bond with Him.  I started reading my bible more and making sure I was in church every sunday.
I've also tried be more courageous, and trying new things, like surfing.  As soon as the ocean warms up a bit (that was a major hint as to [approximately] where I actually live), I'll get on the old 8-foot longboard my grandfather owned (he died but we still have the board) and try NOT to kill myself.
Music?  I LOVE Britt Nicole and Chandelle.  Okay, I REALLY have to finish up because my laptop is going to die on me.  Love you all, god bless!
